Our Story
Mansfield Farm & Cottage Market

A Vendor-run market beginning in 2023. The passion of the Market is to bring local farmers, homesteaders, artisans, craftsman, artists, and community together, enriching the City’s community and connection to local, fresh produce, food items, original crafts and art, along with serving as venue for local musicians and non-profit/educational groups to engage patrons.
Our community Market is more than just shopping. Bring the whole family out for backyard games, music, and snacks.
Stop by the Welcome Booth and visit with our Market Manager to learn more about the Market, programs, the educational feature, the City of Mansfield, and much more!
Our Market Manager facilitates the Farm to Families Program and the Mansfield Mission Center donation drop point.
The Market Manager is also available to help with issues, first aid, and other information as needed.
The Board of Directors consists of elected Vendor representatives and meets once per quarter to address Market business. Our Market Manager handles any day to day issues, market coordination, and hosts the Market each Saturday. The Market runs May through November.
Our Legacy

Rex Wenger started the Mansfield TX Farmers’ Market back in 2004 and continued to watch it grow through October of 2021. His vendors were his pride and joy. Rex loved talking with all of them, becoming friends with many. His goal was always to provide opportunities for growth for hardworking businesses in a fun and welcoming space with customers able to find unique artisan products and foods. We believe he was successful in his goals.
With this legacy, we look forward to the Mansfield Farm & Cottage Market and bringing forth the commitment and hard-work ethic to serve the community. This will be a place for micro-businesses to engage in commerce and grow their dreams affordably. This will also be a place for Mansfieldians to shop local and foster friendships and fellowship in their community.
Thank you to those who were a part of the Mansfield TX Farmers’ Market for the 18 years it served the Community of Mansfield.
